It started with my mother's hands.
Long before Tina Threads was a brand, it was my mother sitting with a needle and thread, turning plain cloth into something worth keeping. I grew up watching her hand-embroidered work—patient, precise, unhurried work that most people don't even notice until they're holding the finished piece.
That's where this brand comes from. Not a factory. Not a trend report. A small town near Tirupati called Pakala, and a woman who taught me that handmade isn't a marketing word — it's hours of actual work.
Years ago, my mother led a team of 50 embroiderers. Fast fashion changed that — cheaper, faster, machine-made alternatives took over, and that craft slowly lost its place. Tina Threads is my way of bringing it back, one piece at a time.
The Myth I'm Trying to Break
"Handcrafted" shouldn't mean "only for special ococcasions."
A hand-embroidered top shouldn't sit in your cupboard waiting for the right occasion. It should go to work with you, to a friend's house, to the market, or simply be part of your everyday life.
That's the idea behind Tina Threads—hand embroidery you can wear, not just admire.
Every piece is thoughtfully made with hand embroidery, pure cotton, proper lining, and clean finishing. The details may not always be visible, but they're what make a garment feel good and last longer.
